This is numerology as a game: a date of birth or any other date is reduced to a single number. All the digits of the date are added, and the sum is added again until one digit remains, unless the sum is 11, 22 or 33. For 15 May 1990 the digits add up to 30, so the result is 3. The number says nothing about character, destiny or health, and other numerology traditions use different rules.
