The calculator subtracts the initial payment from the vehicle value and treats the final balloon as an amount that stays outstanding until the end: each monthly payment repays the rest as an annuity and covers interest on the balloon. With 40,000 KM, 8,000 KM down, a 12,000 KM balloon, 6% and 48 months, the payment is 529.70 KM and the total with buyout and fees is 45,925.63 KM. This is a balloon financing model, not an operating lease, so check your contract terms.
